Too-Faced Peanut Butter & Honey Eyeshadow Palette: PB & H Look

Hey Gorgeous People,

Finished Look

The other day I posted the first suggested look from the Too-Faced PB & H palette, so today I thought I would show you the second! I'm still tossing up which one of the looks is my favourite because the more I look at them, the more I like them.

To begin, I press Queen Bee from my brown bone to my crease and then blend Honey Brittle into the crease.

I then press Honey Buns onto the inner lid. I really wish that this yellow shade was more pigmented because I am currently obsessed with orange and yellow eyeshadows!

Next, I smoke Peanut Butter into the outer crease and outer lid. I am obsessed with this shade! It is probably my favourite shade from this palette and I can't wait to try it out with a bunch of other shades.

Lastly, it says to create a winged liner using Going Nuts and an eyeliner brush. I didn't like this step at all. If I'm going to do a winged liner for an makeup look, I like it to be very crisp and sharp. Using a powder and eyeliner brush made it look really smoky. In the future, if I was going to do a look like this, I would just use a small fluffy brush and smoke Going Nuts into the outer V of my eyes and into the lower lash line.

If the leaflet in the palette didn't say to do a winged liner with Going Nuts, this would be my favourite suggested look from the palette. It is easily adapted for day and night!

What's your opinion on this look? xx

Brown/Bronze Smokey Eye

Hey Gorgeous People,

Finished Look

Here I am with another makeup look using my BH Cosmetics Palette! This time I tried to do something I don't usually do and that is a quite intense, dark smokey eye look.

So, of course, I started off with a fresh, clean face. To see my skincare routine just head over here!

The only palette I used on my eyes was this small, bronze palette by Revlon. I absolutely love this palette because it has such a beautiful, dark, coppery, bronze. I also just used a flat eyeshadow brush and a fluffy, crease brush.

Using the flat eyeshadow brush, I placed the dark bronze shade (third colour from the top) all over my eyelid and blended it out with some more of that shade up towards my brow, not blending too close to my eyebrow.

I then got the last shade, a deep brown, and, with a flat eyeshadow brush, concentrated on my eyelid, only blending it as far as into my crease.

I then used the top shade, a pale gold, in the inner corner of my eye to highlight. I also brought this shade onto my lower lash line in the inner corner.

Then, using my BYS 1 Day Tattoo Eyeliner, I did simple winged eyeliner to add a bit of drama to the look. To smoke it all out, I used the deep bronze and deep brown shade along the outer corner of my lower lash line.

I finished it all off with my normal face makeup routine, which you can see here! Add a little dark red lipstick and you're good to go. And that's that! I actually really love this eyeshadow look; it just seems perfect for a night out.

What is your go to look for a night out?

Eyeshadow Adventures: Part 2

Hey Gorgeous People,

So this is Part 2 of Being Adventurous with my eyeshadow and I thought I would try my new Maybelline green palette.

So this is the changing from a caterpillar to a butterfly!!

I hope you liked this look! I really loved it especially with the red lipstick (I don't have its name as it was a mini sample with no name on it, sorry).
The base for this look was just Garnier BB Cream, e.l.f concealer and highlighter, e.l.f Bronzer in Sun Kissed, and Rimmel Silky Loose Mineral Powder.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this makeup look and your ideas for more blog posts down in the comments!

Painting the Town Red And Gold

Hey Gorgeous People,

I wanted to do another makeup look for you and I finally found my lost makeup bag (I left it in a friend's car :( ). So I thought, "Hmmm, makeup looks." Then my eyes glanced on my gorgeous red lipstick and I knew exactly what I'd do. So this post is going to paint the town red and gold as I do a red-lipped-gold-eyed-cat-eyed look!!

So I prepped my face as usual and put my base on so I could just get going. I don't show you that routine anymore because you know how it goes and I just use my FitMe Foundation in 115, Maybelline Super Stay Concealer, and my Avon Minerals Powder in Light Beige.

Eyes!!
For my eyes (using my e.l.f Professional Eyeshadow Brush) I used my Maybelline Chic Naturals Base before putting the Ten P.R.O eyeshadow in Copper around the outer corner of my eye and into the centre of the lid. I then got a lighter gold out of my Andy Warhol inspired eyeshadow palette and put it from the centre of my lid to the inner corner, blending the two colours together. I then got the Charcoal eyeshadow by Sally Fitzgibbons and blended it into the outer corner of my eye and the crease of my eye using my Elizabeth Arden Angled Eyeshadow Brush, EcoTools Blending Brush, and my e.l.f Profeesional Eyeshadow Brush.  Then came the cat-eye! I have major problems with doing my left eye so that's why I tried to hide it in the photos ... sorry. But I just persevered and went as neat as I could! Here is the end result of my eyes!

Yeah, the colour didn't come out as much as I wanted too in this photo but the end photo is glorious!

Lips!
This is my favourite part! I am a huge red lip fanatic but don't have enough occasions to wear my red lipstick. So I got my Elizabeth Arden Lip Liner in Cocoa Rose. I know it is a different colour to my lipstick but I love the end result. I did light feathery strokes to slowly over-line my lips slightly and then shaded in the rest of my lips. Then I got my Elizabeth Arden Lipstick in Brick (doesn't sound red but it is beautiful).

And this is the final product. I added a filter to make the colours pop so you could see them better. it looks more like the edited photo in real life!

Comment below to tell me what you think and give me ideas for more makeup looks for me to try!
